San Luis Obispo succumbed to Dos pueblos’ boys volleyball team on Tuesday, falling 25-22, 25-21, 25-19 in a non-league matchup.
Gabe Burdick led the Chargers with 15 kills while Mansai Conner contributed six kills and three blocks. Chargers head coach Chris Hughes was also enamored with the play of Jacob Badish, who had “an all-around good game.”
“I felt like we competed well,” Hughes said, citing the momentum gained from a third-place finish at the DP Invitational over the weekend.
The Chargers (9-7) host Ventura on Thursday for their Channel League opener.
