Carpinteria crashed the boards for 49 rebounds and blocked seven shots in a 48-34 win at Grace Brethren in a Frontier League boys basketball game Tuesday night.
The Warriors pulled way in the third quarter behind the seven points from Paul Aguilar.
Myles Menegon paced a balanced scoring attack with 10 points. Aguilar and Trevor Madden added nine points apiece,
Madden played an all-around strong game with four blocked shots, seven rebounds and no turnovers. Andrew Sova had eight rebounds and Menegon grabbed seven.
The victory brought Carpinteria to .500 in league at 4-4. The Warrior are 13-9 overall.
