Carpinteria couldn’t recover from a Marymount run in the second quarter and lost 55-33 in a CIF Division 4A girls basketball playoff game Thursday in Los Angeles.
The Warriors stayed close in the first quarter but behind 28-12 by halftime.
Melissa Lemus led Carpinteria with 16 points, while Juli Cullins had nine points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Bethany Lugo also had five steals.
Carpinteria finished the year at 12-13.
