Three Dos Pueblos athletes qualified for the second annual California Indoor High School Track & Field Championships in a regional event held on Saturday in Northridge.
Senior Nick Scarvelis threw 60’8″ to win the shotput competition while sophomore Bryan Fernandez turned in a winning time of four minutes and 30 seconds in the mile.
Freshman Statmatia Scarvelis placed third in the girls shot put with a toss of 37’6″.
The trio will compete at the State Championships on February 26 in Clovis.
