Natalie Nomura and Marla Bonser led the way for the Laguna Blanca girls basketball team on Wednesday, taking the Owls past Dunn 23-11 for a Condor League win on senior night in Merovick Gym.
Nomura led the team with eight points and Bonser posted seven. Kimi Mushhoon was the game’s defensive standout according to Laguna head coach Chris Foster.
Foster called the Owls’ next game on Friday at Cate a “must-win.”
“That’s like a playoff game for us,” Foster said.
Tipoff is at 5 p.m.
