The results of season-opening Southern Section CIF polls were issued on Monday for baseball, softball and boys volleyball. Boys Tennis rankings have yet to be released.
Santa Barbara High is ranked in both boys volleyball and baseball to start the season.
The Dons baseball team, coming off a 22-5-1 season in which it made the CIF quarterfinals, is ranked No. 2 in Division II behind Alemany.
The Dons volleyball team checks in at No. 9 in Division I. Loyola, Mira Costa and Westlake are the top three teams in Division I to start the season.
Carpinteria features the area’s only ranked softball team. The Warriors are No. 8 in Division VI.
