Bishop Diego made 24 steals and scored several transition baskets en route to a 68-37 blowout win over Pomona Catholic in a CIF Division 5A girls basketball playoff game on Thursday.
“We put a lot of pressure on them,” Bishop coach Jeff Burich said. “They weren’t able to set up in any offense.”
Kelsey Stimson led the Cardinals with 16 points, while Greer Shull had 15 points and Courtney Houston 11 points.
