Dos Pueblos’ girls basketball team couldn’t keep up with Buena on Monday, falling 75-48 to the Bulldogs in Ventura.
Kristen Gowdy led the Chargers with 16 points and Jessica Escalante added 10.
The Bulldogs really took control of the game in the third quarter by outscoring the Chargers 22-8. The halftime lead was extended from 13 to 27 in the process.
The Chargers (15-10, 1-6) finish off their regular season on Wednesday vs. San Marcos.
