Bishop Diego is in basketball heaven right now as the schools boys and girls teams are playing in the CIF semifinals.
The Cardinal girls (16-13) will take on second-seeded Chadwick of Palos Verdes (20-8) in a Division 5A Final Four game on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Santa Barbara High.
The Bishop boys (21-7), meanwhile, will wait until Monday to play their 6AA semifinal against Orangewood Academy of Garden Grove at a site in Orange County to be determined by the weekend.
