With the opener of baseball season less than a month away, UCSB Athletics have opened season ticket sales so fans can catch every moment of exciting Gaucho baseball this season.
UCSB opens its season on February 18 at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium and will play 29 home games this season. UCSB Athletics has several different purchasing options to allow fans the opportunity to see the Gauchos in action all season long.
The Gauchos return some of the best talent in the Big West as pitchers Jesse Meaux and Kevin Gelinas – each of which was drafted in June but returned to UCSB – come back along with seniors Mark Haddow, Trevor Whyte, Sean Williams and Beck Wheeler.
UCSB will host top Big West teams like Cal Poly, UC Irvine and Long Beach State while also taking on tough non-conference foes at home like Nevada, USC, Pepperdine and San Jose State.
The best seats at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium will again be reserved for season-ticket holders and any fan purchasing tickets now will receive the new UCSB Sunday hats with each season ticket purchased. The Gaucho Sunday hats, brand new this season, are white with a blue brim and have the UCSB logo in blue with gold outline. Adult prices are just $75 and youth prices are $50 – that’s a 75 percent savings over the single-game ticket price!
Also, for the fan who cannot make it to every Friday game or weekday affair, UCSB Athletics is offering a weekend only plan for just $50, which is a 60 percent savings over the single-game price!
UCSB staff and faculty can purchase a season seat for $37.50.
With a donation to The Gaucho Fund, season ticket holders will be able to sit right behind the plate for the best view of the game. With a donation to The Gaucho Fund and season ticket purchase, fans will receive complimentary parking at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium!
