Bishop Diego had no one who could match up with Santa Clara’s twin towers of 6-4 Keiana Vines and 6-2 Chanel Smith and was routed 76-30 in a Tri-Valley League girls basketball game on Tuesday.
Vines scored 30 points and Smith knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 13 points for the Saints.
Kelsey Stimson scored eight points and Courtney Houston added six points and six steals for the Cardinals (9-8, 0-3), who are in the midst of a five straight road games.
