Laguna Blanca’s girls basketball team took it on the chin on Friday night, getting knocked around 47-26 at Thacher in a Condor League matchup.
The first-place Toads forced the Owls into an insurmountable amount of turnovers while opening up a large lead by halftime.
Krysta Brown led Laguna Blanca in both scoring and rebounding, collecting 19 and seven, respectively.
The loss drops the Owls to 1-3 in league. Laguna Blanca plays a non-league game on Saturday at San Marcos. Tip-off is 1 p.m.
