Troy Ritter scored 16 points and Laguna Blanca handed Midland its first loss in boys basketball, 52-47, on Wednesday in a Condor League game.
“Laguna Blanca got a very strong effort from Troy Ritter who had 16 points and 9 rebounds,” coach Sal Rodriguez said. “On our offensive sets we are continuing to get better by remaining patient and getting and hitting their open shots.”
Brandon Bickett added 11 points for the Owls (7-5, 4-2), who have won six in a row. Midland is 7-1 and 5-1 in league.
