A healthy Cate girls soccer squad scored in the fourth minute and cruised to a 4-0 Condor League win over Thacher on Wednesday.
The victory was the third straight by shutout and vaults the Rams into first place in the Condor League.
Annie Weis scored off an assist from Addison Mayfield to give Cate the early lead. The Rams made it 2-0 before halftime when Weis fed Brennan Cusack for the goal.
Marguerite Mannix and Emily Nguyen scored in the second half.
“The team is just about healthy again after two weeks of hacking and high fever, hamstring and head injuries,” said Cate coach Lisa Holmes.
