Lois Stanley scored in the 26th minute and the Carpinteria defense made the goal stand up for a 1-0 victory at Fillmore on Tuesday night.
It was the Warriors first win in the Frontier League.
Stanley scored off an assist from Shelby Dunlap.
The Warriors’ defense did the rest.
“Sally Lam, our goalkeeper, didn’t have to make a save because our defense was awesome,” Carpinteria coach Lucy Carleton said. “It was a good outing.”
