Annalise Morando and Elisa Bernardi scored goals, and Bishop Diego notched a rare girls soccer victory at Villanova on Tuesday, winning 3-2.
“We haven’t played well at Villanova, so it was nice to finally come away with a win,” said Bishop coach Brent Gonsalves.
Morando and Bernardi have been on a goal-scoring tear lately.
Morando tied the score at 1-1 in the 21st minute and Bernardi tallied the go-ahead goal in the 44th minute.
Morando put the Cardinals ahead 3-1 in the 50th minute.
“Both of them have been on a roll, which is definitely a good thing,” said Gonsalves.
The Cardinals improve to 8-3-2 and 3-0 in the Frontier League.
