The San Marcos boys varsity soccer team beat Edison of Fresno, 1-0, Friday morning at the Fresno-Clovis tournament. Ricky Lopez scored the game winner off a corner kick.
The road-weary Royals then dropped their next two games Friday afternoon to North Clovis and Lemore. Both scores were 2-1.
The Royals (2-4), who have yet to play a game at home this season, play again Saturday in the Fresno tournament
