San Marcos showed consistency on offense and beat Rosamond 52-38 on Friday to advance to the championship game at the Fillmore girls basketball tournament.
Gabby Sandoval scored 16 points, Emily Dietz added 12 points, Desiree Porter-Ray 10 and Judith Rodriguez eight for the Royals, who will play L.A. Baptist in Saturday’s title game.
“We had a much more even scoring attack,” San Marcos coach Kristyn Miller said. “I was pleased we were able to keep an offensive threat going all game long.”
