Dos Pueblos’ Chase Racich and Kevin Cappon have been designated All-CIF first-teamers for Division I boys water polo, as all first team selections were announced on Monday.
Racich and Cappon helped lead Dos Pueblos to a 25-5 record in their senior seasons, as the Chargers were stopped one match short of the CIF Championship game. Both are undecided on their college destinations.
Chargers head coach Chris Parrish noted that Derek Shoemaker and Brady Moore would have been second-team selections but that the CIF offices did not release more than a first team this year.
Cappon was also Channel League MVP while Racich, Shoemaker, and Moore were All-Channel League first team.
