Providence Hall had trouble handling a suffocating Calvary Chapel defense and dropped a 33-22 girls basketball decision on the road in Costa Mesa.
“Our turnovers rose every quarter,” said assistant coach Laura Trudelle. “We could not handle their pressure. It was a good learning experience for us.”
Lacy Gonzalez scored eight points and Cielo Prizchak had five for the Lions (1-3).
