Tahna Mark scored four goals to lead Dos Pueblos to a 15-4 win over Long Beach Wilson in a non-league girls water polo game played at Newport Harbor High.
It was the 42nd straight win for the Chargers, who are 6-0 this season.
“We were pretty solid and shared the ball a lot,” DP coach Chris Parrish said. “Mark was countering hard and was the recipient of some good passes.”
The game was a tuneup for the Newport Holiday Cup, in which the Chargers are defending champions.
Tiera Schroeder and Kiley Neushul each scored three goals and Schroeder had three assists and five steals, while Kiley Neushul had six assists and four steals.
“The girls were relatively sharp,” Parrish said. “Our defense was good through the whole game.”
The Chargers open the Holiday Cup against Beckman at 8:30 a.m. at Newport Harbor.
