Faith Emerson scored 16 points and Lacey Gonzalez added 11 to lead Providence Hall’s girls basketball team to a 44-17 victory at Orcutt Academy on Monday.
“Everyone just played really well,” said Lions coach Ariana Gnekow. “I think we rattled them a little bit with our defense.”
Emerson played for the first time this season and was able to score all 16 points in only nine minutes of playing time.
It was the first win of the season for Providence Hall in three games. The Lions go for two straight on Thursday at Calvary Chapel.
