Providence Hall’s girls basketball team picked up its second win of the week over Orcutt Academy on Saturday, coming out on top of a 17-12 decision.
Lacey Gonzalez led the Lions with seven points and Faith Emerson tallied four as Providence Hall led start-to-finish. Olivia Barroca contributed some good energy, collecting five rebounds and providing a general spark.
“Nothing was really falling from either team,” said Lions assistant Laura Trudelle.
Providence Hall stands at 2-3 on the season and plays Grace Brethren next on Monday.
