Amanda Schulenberg has been named All-CIF in girls volleyball Division IV-AA, it was announced Tuesday.
The Laguna Blanca senior captain helped lead the Owls to the quarterfinals of CIF this year after making the title match in 2009. Schulenberg was a four-year varsity player.
“She’s always been one of the top athletes in the gym since she was a kid,” said her coach Jim Alzina, noting how her sportsmanship was always at an equally high level.
Channel League champion Dos Pueblos did not have a representative make the First Team in Division I-A.
