Laguna Blanca girls break into the win column

Krysta Brown led three players in double figures to lead Laguna Blanca’s girls basketball team to its first win of the year, a 42-34 decision over Coast Union in the Laguna Blanca Invitational.

Brown scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Natalie Nomura hit three 3-pointers en route to 11 points and Amanda Schulenberg added 10 points.

“We played excellent defense,” coach Chris Foster said “I knew it was going to happen and it was good to see it happen.”
