San Marcos’ girls water polo team played in 3-D on Saturday, as Brittny Hummel, Rose Koper and Hannah Koper gave the Royals three equal scoring dimensions in a 14-8 victory over Long Beach Poly.
The two Koper sisters and Hummel each scored four times to carry the offense. Halie Johnson and Natalie Chilton added a goal apiece along with three steals.
The Royals never trailed after the first quarter, building a 10-5 lead by halftime.
“Defensively we were soooooo good,” said Royals head coach Chuckie Roth. “We were playing probably some of our best water polo that I’ve seen all year.”
