J.T. Royston scored 22 points, but Providence Hall lost its point guard to an injury and dropped a 55-49 boys basketball game at Midland on Wednesday.
“Our point guard went down with a shoulder injury in the second quarter and that took us out of our rhythm,” said Providence Hall coach Keith Luberto.
Preston Towers added 11 points for the Lions, who made a run at Midland but fell short.
