Laguna Blanca’s girls basketball team was knocked around in the opener of its own invitational tournament on Tuesday, falling to Holy Matyrs 43-24.
Krysta Brown led the Owls with 11 points and 11 rebounds but Laguna head coach Chris Foster said the team struggled to put the ball in the basket as a team.
“We were getting good shots. We just weren’t making the shots we were supposed to be making,” Foster said.
The Owls (0-2) rest on Wednesday before playing again on Thursday.
