Sylvia Hoover played a turnover-free game and Tess Emerson scored 21 points to lead the Santa Barbara High girls basketball team to a 56-21 rout of San Francisco’s El Camino at the Harold Oliveira Tournament at Righetti on Wednesday.
Hoover scored nine points and had six assists.
“She’s playing really, really well,” said Santa Barbara coach Andrew Butcher of his guard.
Desirea Coleman added nine points and Emerson grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds.
The Dons committed only one turnover in the first half in roaring out to a 29-10 lead.
The Dons return to action Tuesday, opening Channel League play at Buena.
