Brandie Harris gave her Dos Pueblos girls soccer team two first-half goals on Saturday, boosting the Chargers towards a 3-1 victory over Sunny Hills.
Maddie Mathews added the third in the second half.
“I’m very pleased. I’m seeing a lot of improvement in our game,” said Chargers head coach Jose Guerrero.
The Chargers were also lifted by the return of senior captain Claire Mathews, who was in the lineup for the first time this season after fighting her way back from injury.
Guerrero was also complimentary about defenders Erin Ristig and Amber Altavilla, plus midfielder Rachel Smith.
The Chargers (3-1) travel to Righetti on Monday.
