Dos Pueblos’ Brandie Harris scored her eighth goal of the season already on Thursday, finding the scoring column first for the Chargers in a 3-0 victory over Rio Mesa.
Harris has now scored in five of Dos Pueblos’ first six games of the season. The Chargers are off to a 5-1 start.
“She’s really quick. She’s got a lot of technique,” described DP head coach Jose Guerrero.
Shannon Brown anf Jamie Benedetto also scored for Dos Pueblos, giving the Chargers a 3-0 lead by halftime. Rachel Smith assisted on the first two goals and Shelby Hoffman set up the third.
“The whole team played really well,” Guerrero said.
The Chargers travel to San Luis Obispo on Friday.
