Dos Pueblos defeated four teams on the opening day of the Downey Duals wrestling competition on Friday.
The Chargers beat Godinez 58-21, Ganesha 60-15, Gahr 56-15 and Garden Grove Santiago 47-32.
Seven DP wrestlers didn’t lose a match on the day. They were Armando Villegas at 103 pounds, Chad Lampe at 114, Nico Sorenson (119), Harrison Solomon (135), Brian Dominguez (145), Richard Stevens (152) and Brandon Velasquez (160).
The Chargers will wrestle against five more teams on Saturday.
