Chiara DiMarco led a fourth-quarter surge as Dos Pueblos pulled away from Santa Ynez, 53-40, in an opening-day pool-play girls basketball game at the Righetti Tournament on Monday.
Falling behind 29-27, the Chargers picked up their game and outscored the Pirates 17-8 in the final quarter to improve their record to 12-2.
Dos Pueblos plays two games on Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. against Lompoc at a 2 p.m. against host Righetti.
