Dos Pueblos couldn’t recover from a slow start and dropped a 53-43 non-league boys basketball decision to Lakewood on Tuesday night.
The Chargers trailed 22-7 after the first quarter. The closest they got was six points, 39-32 in the third quarter.
Jay Larinan led DP with 16 points and Pablo Miranda and Jackson Burke added seven apiece.
Zach Pulig, a highly recruited forward, scored 19 points to pace Lakewood.
