Dos Pueblos show balance in win over McClymonds

Robert Cid stepped up, and the Dos Pueblos basketball team showed good balance in beating McClymonds of Oakland 58-49 Friday at the Simi Valley Tournament.

Cid popped in a team-high 14 points, Pablo Miranda and Jay Larinan added 11 each and Isaac Gomez chipped in eight for the Chargers, who roared out to a 29-11 lead.

Dos Pueblos (2-1) led 42-22 after three quarters before McClymonds narrowed the game with a big fourth quarter.

The Chargers play Camarillo in the fifth place game on Saturday.
