Jessica Domenichelli of SBCC has been named to the first-team All-WSC North women’s soccer squad. The freshman forward from El Dorado Hills set a school record with 25 goals and also had eight assists.
Freshmen Amanda Tafoya, Sara Tomas and Morgan Crumpley were also first-team selections for the Vaqueros (16-4-2), who took second in conference and were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs by WSC champion Ventura, 3-0.
Anne Dunne, Allison Raack (San Marcos High) and Margot Valenzuela were second-team choices while Katherine Earle and Jacalyn Schmidt (8 goals) made honorable mention.
SBCC, ranked No. 9 in the state, outscored its opponents 86-20 and had the fourth-best offense in California.
