Five Dos Pueblos wrestlers took second place in their weight classes at the La Quinta Blackhawk Invitational on Thursday
Esteban Flores at 103 pounds and 189-pounder Lucas Rascon were competing in the first finals at the varsity level.
“It was exciting,” said DP coach Anthony Califano.
The Chargers, who finished second in the team competition, had 11 wrestlers finish in the top eight.
