Gabriel Camacho scored 28 points for Channel Islands on Tuesday and was the driving force behind a 64-51 victory for the Raiders over Laguna Blanca at the Valley Christian Tournament.
Brandon Bickett led Laguna with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Connor Gray added 12 more.
The Owls fall to 1-4 on the season but head coach Sal Rodriguez saw improvement for his team against the much larger public school.
