Westmont women’s basketball team had four players score in double digits on Monday, leading the Warriors to a 76-60 victory over 14th-ranked Trevecca Nazarene.
The Warriors remain unbeaten on the year at 6-0. Westmont, which received a single vote in the preseason NAIA poll, has two GSAC games on its schedule before the next set of rankings are released on Dec. 6.
Vanessa Farias led the Warriors with 18 points off the bench. The other three Warriors to reach double digits were starters: Elizabeth Evancoe (16), Katie Kittle (12), and Angel Blanco (11).
Westmont was able to defeat Trevecca Nazarene despite getting out-rebounded and shooting a lower field-goal precentage.
