The semifinals are set for the Channel League Singles Championship, being played in Ventura at the Pierpont Racquet Club.
Top-seeded Lauren Stratman will meet Grace Flintermann in one semifinal and San Marcos’ Caitlin Mannix and Santa Barbara High’s Hayley Hranicky-Galitzer will face each other in the other after Monday’s first two rounds of play.
Stratman, a junior, is seeking a third straight individual league singles title. Stratman defeated San Marcos’ Christine Pearson and Ventura’s Alyson Meyer to reach the semis.
Second-seeded Hranicky-Galitzer topped Ventura’s Kylie Oldt and Dos Pueblos’ Kate Stratman for the chance to play Mannix, who went through Buena’s Danielle Warmuth and Santa Barbara’s Taryn Mjelde.
Flintermann, the fourth seed, defeated DP’s Lea Tran Le and San Marcos’ Jordan Lund.
