Cate’s Denali Tietjen led the Rams’ girls cross country team to a second-place finish at Wednesday’s Condor League Championships, placing third overall individually.
Thacher claimed both the boys and girls titles on a hot day at Ojai Valley School.
Tietjen recorded a time of 22:27. Teammate Adrian Walsh also posted a top-10 result, taking 10th place.
The Cate boys finished in third, only five points behind runner-up Midland. Spencer McAvoy was the Rams’ top performer once again and his time of 18:20 was good for fifth place.
Austin Lokre, Ahmed Bou-Rabee, Jason Park and Michael Hassman were all top-20 for Cate.
