Warriors work five sets to take down Hope

Westmont had three players register double figures in kills and outlasted Hope International, 20-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-12, 15-9, in a Golden State Athletic Conference women’s volleyball match in Fullerton Tuesday night.

Alison Sharp led the way with 19 kills. Ciara Turner added 16 and Tessa Martin 14 for the Warriors (10-12, 4-9 GSAC).

Kristin Schroeder played a solid defensive game with 26 digs. Sharp added 18 digs.

Setter Candace Adema dished out 52 assists and had two solo blocks.

Naomi Iosia had 19 kills and Sine Schirmer 13 for Hope International (5-12, 2-11).
