Carpinteria’s girls golf team played the back nine at Montecito Country Club for the first time on Tuesday, taking away the “home court” advantage in a Frontier League match with Fillmore.
The Warriors didn’t let it get to them, securing a 301-320 victory.
Christine Saito and Zoey Luna carded matching 57s for Carpinteria’s low rounds. Seanna Moens was right there with a 58 to help the Warriors improve to 3-6 in league.
Carpinteria closes out its league season on Thursday against Nordhoff.
