Jessica Domenichelli scored in the fifth minute on Wednesday and Amanda Tafoya added a goal in the 57th minute as SBCC bounced back from its first WSC women’s soccer loss to blank West L.A. 2-0 in Culver City.
The Vaqueros (11-2-1, 5-1) were playing their second game in less than 24 hours. They dropped a 2-0 decision at Ventura on Tuesday night.
Domenichelli took a pass from Tafoya and beat the keeper for her 15th goal of the season. Domenichelli is fourth in the state in goals scored and points (32).
Sara Tomas assisted on Tafoya’s third goal.
“It was all one-way traffic, I don‘t think they had a shot on goal,” said coach John Sisterson. “We got everybody in and were able to rest some people.”
SBCC will play its third game in three days on Thursday night at 7 p.m. when it hosts Hancock at La Playa Stadium.
