Lauren Underwood had 10 digs and nine kills for the Bishop Diego girls volleyball team on Tuesday, but the Cardinals were swept by a formidable St. Bonaventure team 25-18, 25-12, 25-15.
“Our girls did a pretty good job, and Lauren had her best match of the year which was good to see,” said coach Erika Lilley.

Diana Sleep had six kills with six digs and sophomore middle blockers Ariana Hugo (four blocks, two kills) and Emily Lash (three blocks) played well also, according to Lilley.
The Cardinals (3-4) host Villanova on Thursday.
