Dos Pueblos’ girls volleyball team took on Thousand Oaks in a Friday night non-league clash, using four games to defeat the Lancers 25-17, 25-13, 25-27, 25-21.
Nicki Brown was the Chargers’ primary offensive weapon, knocking down 18 kills. Jordan Roberts took care on defense, collecting seven digs. Todd Garrett also liked what he got from Hannah Harris, who made some big plays playing opposite, and Maddie Leiphardt, who did a good job of setting.
The Chargers play their third match in three days on Saturday at Harvard-Westlake, the No. 1 team in Div. I-AA.
