Jessica Domenichelli scored in the third minute Friday night and freshman Emily Myrick added two goals in the last five minutes as No. 11 SBCC routed West L.A. 6-0 in a women’s soccer match at La Playa Stadium.
Domenichelli has scored in the last four games, boosting her season total to 18 for the Vaqueros (13-2-2, 7-1-1), who are 7-0-1 at home.
Jenna Rubin and Jacalyn Schmidt had first-half goals to make it 3-0 and Kate Earle’s through ball led to Schmidt’s tally in the 43rd minute. Earle made a long run and blasted her fifth goal of the year in the 80th minute.
Cheyenne Rodriguez and Hannah Zech combined on the third shutout in four games.
SBCC has three regular- season games left, starting Friday, Nov. 5 at Oxnard.
