Mathews, a 5-7 setter from Angels Camp, Calif., was filling in for Kelsey Soos, who missed the WSC North match with an injury. The Vaqueros (14-4, 3-0) posted their sixth straight win and fifth consecutive sweep.
Hillary Tomas had 13 digs, Piper Obradovich 10 and Allyson Porter eight. Jenn Waddill had a .500 hitting percentage, Nicole Bergmann .333 and Antonia Antes .300.
The Vaqueros travel to Moorpark on Friday for a 7 p.m. match.
