San Marcos’ boys water polo team suffered a pair of losses on Friday at the San Luis Obispo Tournament, falling to Las Lomas and Hanford West.
Las Lomas beat the Royals 6-1 to open up the tournament. San Marcos then lost out to Hanford 12-6.
Ben Battles was San Marcos’ only player able to score against Las Lomas, before Tyler Lisea and James Sweeney recorded hat tricks in the second match.
Goalie Chris Bebb collected 12 saves in the two games.
San Marcos (3-9) plays three more games on Saturday in San Luis Obispo.
