The Racich twins, Tristan and Taylor, combined for 16 digs, and Dos Pueblos used its balance to take down Ventura, 25-19, 25-17, 28-26 in a Channel League girls volleyball match Thursday in Ventura.
Tristan Racich ran an efficient attack with 36 assists.
“Everything else was pretty even,” said DP coach Todd Garrett, whose team improved to 10-2 and 5-0 in Channel League.
Sierra Hofstatter provided a spark with her defense and serve receive.
The Chargers trailed 21-17 in the third set and fought back to win it, which pleased Garrett.
“We showed a lot of character and poise to come back and win that one,” he said.
The Chargers head to San Diego, where they’ll compete in the 20-team Torrey Pines Tournament. Among the other powerhouse teams entered are Mira Costa, Archbishop Mitty, La Costa Canyon and La Jolla Country Day.
